Southeast Asia
After designing with the same company for a little over 2.5 years I was beginning to feel stagnant. I felt as if I was becoming complacent, both professionally and personally, and I was no longer filled with the enthusiastic passion with which I had been consumed immediately after graduation.
Desperate for change, a good buddy and myself planned just shy of the first week, and then adventured the rest of our way through a 4.5 month backpacking trip through Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and ultimately wrapped up in the Philippines where we volunteered for just shy of a month rebuilding homes and sustainable gardens with The Earth Village Project, an organization for which we raised a considerable donation prior to taking our trip.
