Coleman® supplied me with all of the camping supplies one would need for a weekend getaway in the mountains, and they requested I go on this adventure with someone who had never previously been camping. It worked out that my father had never been “officially” camping. My dad flew in from Cleveland, Ohio, we got the gear ready, and off we were to Boulder Lake, a gorgeous lake in Eagles Nest Wilderness just north of Breckenridge, Colorado. My good buddy, Travis Bartlett, a photographer and videographer came along to document the experience.

Brand Photography
Presenting a long lasting brand such as Coleman® through photography was fairly easy. We went out with the goal of capturing true, authentic camping moments. With a few staged shots sprinkled in to push the brand to cater to "the adventurer", our approach was to tell a story of the weekend, the experience and the products.
Capturing Content Through Visuals and Words
Letting the story speak for itself and letting authenticity breath through experiences is only welcomed by the wilderness.
We were just along for the ride.

Typography
We wanted to convey the ease of access and approachability of Coleman® through the tone of typography. Each hand-rendered type piece is meant to be quickly digestible, mildly whimsical, and gender-neutral. Each composition contains organic elements—swashes, filagrees and textures—that speak to the outdoor camping experience as a whole.
