Wild Child is the first in a series of films by Born Wild Project, a project dedicated to empowering families to raise children who are connected with wilderness and wildness. With the hope of creating a title that felt rough, playful, adventurous and childlike, the design was intended to present the film as knowledgeable, raw and approachable.

To convey the concept of the support that a parent gives their child, interlocking and cradling letterforms are used throughout the word mark.

Each letter is perfectly imperfect; the letterforms are deliberately edited and arranged while the fill is rough and seemingly sporadic, reminiscent of a child’s coloring.
